Rajat Patidar was born in India on June 1, 1993. He is an Indian cricketer known for his aggressive right-handed batting style. He is a top-order right-handed batter batsman who can also bowl occasional off-spin. Patidar has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket for Madhya Pradesh, and he has also made a mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He is now the official captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2025 IPL season.
Patidar first came into the limelight with his impressive performances in the Ranji Trophy, where he was the leading run-scorer for Madhya Pradesh in the 2018-19 season. He continued his good form in the IPL, where he played some crucial innings for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, including a match-winning century in the 2022 playoffs.
